Soft, light, feathery and rough

phragmites.jpg

Approaching the bridge that crosses the pond I see the almost-Winter light refracted through the feathery tops of the phragmites and I feel the barest touch of your fingertips brushing the length of my body. One long continuous and indescribably light caress moves from toes to thighs to hips, along the edge of my ribcage then up over my breasts, across my neck under my chin around the edge of my lips and behind my ear then back down my spine…

The feathery plumes are not all I see. The broken reeds evoke the scratching of your fingernails… digging in to my flesh as you pull me on top of you…

Please… pull me down and into the reeds… Relieve me of my needing… my sudden undeniable and seemingly bottomless longing…

Now.

  1. Beautiful. I love the combination of imagery in the two different media.
